Rowan Golder Memorial Shield

On 14th May 2008 our very dear friend and skipper, Rowan, suffered a fatal heart attack at the crease during the first game of the season.

In commemoration of his great friendship to all of us and the special way he skippered the team for many years, we play three matches a year against The Sanford Arms for the Rowan Golder Memorial Shield.

The shield can be seen on the wall in Ye Olde Ship Inn. YOSICC is very proud to have won it in 2009 and 2010.
